I like to hit restart often

I opened up my PerryFinalia shop on Etsy in May '09. I added items to sell in July '09. It didn't go so well. Friends and family made my day when they purchased 4 items on the first day! But then it was a month before I had my next sale. Why? I was making everything first and then listing it, e.g. I made a size run of a certain item. So then I realized I was going to have to start making everything made to order...But i still wasn't happy. I didn't LOVE my stuff.

So I had to do it. I purchased quilt fabric like most others to make my items. The cotton is super easy to work with & consistent! I put my shop on vacation and started sewing up some new ideas. I came back with 3 items to show. Success started! It was fantastic! I had a wholesale order in Ohio and then 21 sales after that in 3 weeks. I was ecstatic. And then it died...

It was 10 days for my next sale. WHAT IS WRONG!? I just wanted everything to keep running like normal. I constantly want to scrap what I have done and start over again. RESTART!

And that is the beauty of it...I can do that if I want to! It's my business. Although it is not good for it.

So I keep working, keep renewing and keep hoping that things will pay off.
